- Hi everybody,
- I just acquired a used 3000 to replace my old and venerable 2000.
- However, I have a LOT of files that I want to bring over to my
- new 3000. Is there a way I can link the two computers up with
- a serial cable? I have an extra standard modem cable lying around.
- Would this work? I've seen numerous warnings about certain pins
- on the Amiga's serial port which are powered. I don't want to
- short my computers' serial ports! I would appreciate any help
- in regards to what kind of cable I'd need (a serial cable w/ null
- modem adapter?!?) and how I can transfer files back and forth
- (term?) Thank you very much!

- Vincent
